How to reach Baga Beach
Baga is in North Goa, easily reached by road from Panaji (about 40 minutes) and from the coastal towns of Calangute, Candolim and Anjuna. Taxis, app cabs and rented scooters or cars are the usual options, and parking is available a short walk from the sand.
From Dabolim Airport the drive is roughly 45 km and takes about 75–90 minutes depending on traffic; Mopa Airport in the north is another option. The nearest railhead is Thivim, with onward taxis to the beach.
Practical tips
Baga gets very busy in peak season, so arrive early to claim a good shack lounger and to beat the traffic. Agree water-sports prices in advance, keep valuables secure, and use only licensed operators for any activity in the water.
